Wow, my friend, that's quite the response. I chose masculine and feminine as energy expression, instead of male and female, which I see as more gender-based. In Western esotericsm and in traditonal pagan mysteries those terms are used as well. In India it is Shiva/Shakti. Chinese Yin/Yang. Jung would use Anima/Animus.
I started Tai Chi 30 years ago which reminds me in a physical tangible way about moving in a balanced way, with focre one moment, yeilding the next. And within both there is a bit of the other.
In the Tarot, the Fool, the big zero begins a journey that he will never make in an Absolute sense. And throughout the stages he must walk upon energies of masculine or feminine are to used, experienced, and mastered. This key is one such stage, a reminder that at certain times, the focus needs be about achieving balance. Irrespective of gender, some people are more yin and some yang.
In Waldorf/ Steiner education, the first lesson we give first graders is drawing a straight and curve (I). And they go and find examples in the classroom, in nature, examples. Everything in the world is made up of one or the other or a combination of the two.
Words are only symbols, pointing to the truth. As Ramana Maharshi said, they are the grandchildren of truth. Today I find people get so caught up in words and they become triggers. Truth cannot be described or defined🙏❤️.
