There is one publisher I like to write for who recently became illegible to nominate stories for boosting. Because she was handed this baton she was supposedly needed to be more selective in accepting works into the publication. I like that idea but it would require rejecting a lot and ruffling a lot of feathers. If publishers had higher standards than those writing at lower levels would be relegated to their self-publication.
