… that in our youth, our hair stands resilient against the wind, and friends flock to us like birds. Yet, as time passes, those friends drift away, just as the color in our hair fades, leaving us in solitude, with grey strands battling the relentless wind… and we yield, as the woman in my poem did, as I will do, as you will, too.
