That is especially true I see on Medium. And I am mixed with that at times. In some ways, it seems like there is this tacit agreement that I will support you by clapping if you do that for me in order to win the Medium payout game, which sometimes include clapping to pieces of work that in my humble opinion lacks good writing. I will click on some stories that has thousand of claps and the piece is very poor (of course, I have never had such a response to any of my pieces and I still float around in the obscurity of Medium.)

What I do like about this forum, instead of FB, is that there is a better chance of someone taking more than the 10 seconds one might earn on FB or the others, to delve into your writing. So I appreciate that about you many others I have met on Medium who are writers who will take the time to get to know me a bit by reading my work, and whose work I enjoy and helps enrich me as a writer and grow with insight as a person.

One of the frutrating things about not being with writers is that family and friends will not necessisarily read my work and most likely will not. And if they haven't read my work they do not know me fully.

Sorry for my rambling. Regardless, I just want to say that I enjoy our writing relationship we have developed. Write on.
