Thanks for responding, Russell. I understand that point of view. As John wick would say, "It's complicated." About your question on whether not AI is a legitimate art form. I'm sure there are many answers. The same for collage work. As my computer high school senior told me, he likes to play with it to see what AI can do but would not consider it art because it only imitates from all its data points. Input/output. It is a tool. And it is a tool that we as a human race have no idea what we are playing with. For me, as an artist, something that require no skill to utilize is not art. The same with AI generated writing. I would not call myself a writer if I just told AI what to write. Anyway, that's my two bits.
