Sex is a powerful force indeed. And it gets all very complicated. And then there is the biological component of men able and wanting to have sex (the drive to continue the species, unconsciously) while women's estrogen starts going bye-bye, the situation in my household.

I find it interesting that while many spiritual practices condone celibacy, scientific studies show how beneficial sex is. Taoist sexual practices state that channeling that energy is important, otherwise celibacy can be unhealthy, at least for men--case in point celibate priests and the shit that goes down with them.
