Self-determination and fate has been such a long dispute. A parent in one of my classes was a neuropsychologist and would often be brought to court to give his expertise on whether or not the defendant had freewill or not. He confided in me that we know so little about the brain and that there is no place where freewill can be found in the brain. Hell, our decisions can be the result of the bacteria in our gut. Cheers
