Occult means hidden, occluded. Esoteric knowledge. Symbolism is a large part of the mystical road. Symbolism is open to interpretation or one might say levels. There is light and dark to be encountered in "knowing thyself." While I love knowledge, profane and spiritual, God is beyond all concepts, all words, all things. It has been a long time since I have believed I was in Kansas. ;)
