I think Amanda Gorman's reading at Biden's inauguration was powerful, not so much with the words, but how she moved the words, with her whole being. It just like some songs, for instance the Beatles. The words may be okay, but when music is added to them the gestalt takes the listener far beyond. I always read my poems aloud...to myself. I haven't done any public reading. I do like telling stories, however, publicly.
