Good points. Medium and its payment structure were a mystery when I started, and now after a year's hiatus, it still is. It was not a source of income before and I still don't rely on it as one. However, whatever is happening, it seems my poetry is making more than it did with my first incarnation. Just to clarify, if I write a 10-min article and a 2-minute poem, if someone spends at least 30 seconds with each, I will get paid the same?
