For me, who has been enthralled by supernatural powers, such pursuits in that realm keeps me away from being grounded in the Self. It is very easy to get lost in the astral realms, whether in the lokas of gods or the lower realms. It is all the play of duality, which is an outward focus, no matter how subtle.
