About 40 years ago I was given a book, Seth. All this you-create-your-reality-by-your-thoughts was very new.
One day I sat on a little bridge in the redwoods. No one was around as this was the back of the park. Redwoods are special for me. I ruminated on Seth's teachings.
"Okay," I said, "I want a beautiful blonde on a horse to ride up to me and say hello."clip-clop Within a minute, I hear the clip-clop of a horse behind me to the left, and straddled on it sat a beautiful young lady, a blonde. She smiled and waved at me. And I am sure I looked like an idiot with my mouth agape. She continued to ride past.
"She didn't stop!" the rational part of my brain yelled. "See everything is okay, just a coincidence."
Just as I was settling back to my reality of not being god-like, I hear on the other side of me, to the right:
"Hi,lot do you come here often?"
The blonde had gotten off her horse after fording the stream below. We talked awhile and planned to meet the next day there for a walk and a picnic.
The next day as we walked on the trail she talked about how there used to be a lot more animals in the area, as she lived on the border of the park. There used to be a lot of bobcats but she no longer saw them.
"I would love to see a bobcat."
We turn the corner and there sits a bobcat on the trail, just looking at us. Her dog chased it away.
For 40 years I reflect upon that event and wonder how that happened. I certainly was not concentrating. I did not will it. My best guess was that it was a very dramatic show revealing the importance of intention and to be cognizant of what you are wishing. Life is full of miracles and wonders. Cheers.
