This is the world, the original world
the billionaires have left to burn 
the chattering sun, the browning fern
the rocky brook, the secret yearning
the 10-bed house, the fine stone bath
the empath & the sociopath
the country lane, the tropical burn
the getting out, the quiet byway
the stone in your heart, the burial urn
& in your code, the sighing highway
